Klaus Kenneth in the Netherlands – for the first time

Spring lecture cycle · April 2025 · Looking back

Intro / Who is Klaus Kenneth

He was born in 1945 in Czechoslovakia, in the midst of the chaos of war. His childhood was marked by ill-treatment, abandonment and abuse. His answer to the world was hatred – of people, of God, of himself.

For years he sought the truth outside Europe: yoga in India, Buddhism in Thailand, shamanism in South America. He lived as a hippie, as a guru, as a criminal. Twenty times he narrowly escaped death.
Until, at the age of 36, on a bus in Colombia, he found himself face to face with armed bandits – and prayed sincerely for the first time in his life.

What happened then changed everything.

About the lectures

Klaus shared his story – personally, in the flesh

In the spring of 2025 Klaus visited the Netherlands for the very first time. At five locations he told his life story: from hatred to love, from darkness to Christ.

His testimony has been translated into more than 15 languages and has touched people on every continent.

All the lectures were open to everyone and brought together believers, seekers and the curious.

About the author / Klaus Kenneth

After being baptised into the Orthodox Church in 1986, Klaus devoted his life to spreading the faith. He translated works of Elder Sophrony into German, spoke at hundreds of conferences worldwide and appeared on radio and television. In 2000 he founded an orphanage in Kenya and a relief organisation for refugees in Serbia. Even after retiring as a teacher in 2005 he travels the world tirelessly with his testimony.

Looking back

Klaus Kenneth came to the Netherlands only once. His story was more than a lecture – it was a meeting with someone who had known the abyss and afterwards found the light.
