The holy apostles who were the first to set foot on Greek soil had seen Jesus Christ in person and told all the inhabitants of this land about Him. From their accounts grew a faith that even the Ottoman yoke could not shake.
Our partner in Greece organises journeys to a country where Orthodoxy is still the foundation of the worldview today, and where every feast day of the Church is a national holiday. You will visit churches and monasteries from within: the island of Evia, where pilgrims from every land come to the relics of St John the Russian; the monastery of St Ephraim near Athens; the Divine Liturgy at the relics of St Nectarios on Aegina. On Mount Athos there are monasteries and sketes, daily services and conversations with monks who have given their lives to it.
