Shipping and Returns
How your order reaches you, what it costs, and what you can do if a book is not what you expected.
Shipping costs
We ship worldwide. The rate depends on the country and the number of books; the exact amount for your basket is always shown at checkout, before you pay.
To the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg a single flat rate of €7.00 per shipment applies, regardless of the number of books. From €50 we ship free within these three countries.

Titles from partner publishers are dispatched by the partner publisher itself and travel as a second parcel. A separate shipping rate applies to them; they are not covered by the free shipping within the Benelux.
Delivery time
Books are dispatched as soon as payment has been received. You will see an estimate of the delivery time for your country at checkout.
Returning printed books
You may return an unused book within fourteen days of receipt, without giving a reason, and you will be refunded the price of the book. For consumers in the European Union this is also an entitlement under the right of withdrawal that applies to distance selling.
You pay for the return shipment yourself, and the book must reach us in its original, saleable condition. We refund within fourteen days of receiving the book, using the same payment method you used at checkout.
Digital editions
E-books are delivered immediately after purchase. Once the download has begun, they cannot be returned or refunded – as is usual with digital files.
Damaged or wrongly delivered
If a book arrives damaged, or we have sent the wrong title, we will put it right. Let us know within fourteen days of receipt, with your order number and, if possible, a photograph. We will replace the book free of charge or refund it. In that case you do not pay for the return shipment.
