Thodoris Spiliotis

Thodoris Spiliotis, originally from Athens, began his academic journey in London, earning a degree in Electronic Engineering. He went on to pursue advanced studies, completing a Master’s in Telematics at Middlesex University and an MBA at Kingston University. His years in the UK profoundly shaped his professional ethos, instilling a strong dedication to mentoring emerging professionals and championing innovative ideas in business leadership.

Following a successful tenure in research and development firms, Spiliotis launched his own tech enterprise in 2014, specializing in cutting-edge software solutions. Beyond entrepreneurship, he plays an active role in fostering innovation and knowledge exchange. He is a frequent speaker at major conferences on technology, tourism, and entrepreneurship — including events like TEDx and Mindspark.

He also holds a teaching and scientific advisory role at the Institute of Continuous Education under the General Staff of the National Defence Forces, where he contributes both as a lecturer and as a member of the scientific evaluation committee. His support extends to entrepreneurial initiatives through his work with the Light Hub support structure.

Spiliotis further contributes to the global innovation community through his involvement with international bodies, such as serving on the Advisory Board of the New York Charitable Foundation. Since establishing Athonikos Management in 2018, he has expanded his focus on education, offering strategic guidance to universities and companies in Greece and abroad, helping to implement innovative methods and practices in diverse organizational contexts.
