The Orthodox Logos Foundation (Stichting Orthodox Logos) (hereinafter: “we”) uses cookies and similar technologies on www.orthodoxlogos.com. A cookie is a small text file that a website places in your browser, so that the website recognises you on a subsequent visit. Below you will find which cookies we use, what for, and how you can refuse or delete them.
Necessary cookies
Without these cookies the web shop does not work: they remember what is in your shopping basket, keep you logged in to your account and protect the website against misuse. No consent is required for these.
- WooCommerce (shopping basket, session, logging in) – cookies with names beginning with
woocommerce_,wp_woocommerce_session_andwordpress_; they expire after the session or, if you log in, after two weeks. - Cloudflare (security) –
__cf_bmand related cookies, valid for up to thirty minutes. - Basket (number of books) –
ol_cart_countremembers how many books are in your basket, so that the number by the basket is right on every page; it expires at the end of the session. - Viewing an order –
ol_acc_viewis set when you open your order with the button in an order e-mail, so that you see that order without logging in; valid for one hour. - Language –

Statistics
Google Analytics. We measure how often pages are visited and which books attract attention, in order to improve the website. We use Google Analytics 4 with shortened IP addresses, without the user ID function and without sharing data with other Google services; a data processing agreement has been concluded with Google. Cookies: _ga and _ga_*, valid for up to two years.
Origin of an order. The web shop remembers by which route you came to the website (for example a search engine or a link in the newsletter), so that when an order is placed we can see what is worth the effort. This stays within our own website. Cookies: sbjs_*, valid until the session ends and, for the first visit, up to six months.
Third-party videos
On a few pages there is a video from YouTube. As soon as you play such a video, YouTube (Google) may place its own cookies. Google’s privacy policy applies to these.
Refusing or deleting cookies
We do not place cookies for advertising or for tracking visitors across other websites. You can set your browser to refuse cookies, and you can delete cookies that have been placed; consult your browser’s manual for this. Without cookies, the shopping basket and logging in do not work.
